As Jesus was walking near the Sea of Galilee, he did something that the teachers of his day did not do. The teachers of Jesus’ day would receive requests from those who wanted to be a student. That meant not everyone had access. Jesus did not receive the request, but rather he gave a call for students.
“And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.” (KJV, Mark, 1:17-18)
Christianity is more than God meeting or needs, it’s also God using us to meet the needs of others.
Jesus called the early disciples while they were involved in the everyday affairs of life, working and taking care of their families. Jesus pointed them to a cause greater than self. That cause is found in the gospel of Mark.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (KJV, Mark, 16:15)
To prepare them for this kingdom task he called them to discipleship.
At Victory Chapel of Greater New Hampshire, we prioritize discipleship, church planting, and world evangelism.
The book of Acts reveals the incredible impact that can be achieved when we fully embrace Jesus’ instructions on discipleship.
At Victory Chapel of Greater New Hampshire and all of our fellowship churches, we believe the bible is the blueprint for the New Testament church. That is why we use the time-tested pattern of discipleship. This means that anyone who has a desire to help build the kingdom of God has an opportunity to be involved.
Discipleship is a call to follow the teachings and examples of Jesus.
“For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.” (KJV, John, 13:15-17)
Discipleship is a surrendering of our will to the will of God. As we do this, we are transformed into the sons and daughters of the Most High God.
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” (KJV, Acts, 4:13)
The real-world results of discipleship is changed life. There is a change in priority. This makes a person more available for the destiny Jesus had for our lives. Pastor Wayman Mitchell embraced this pattern and even though he has gone to his eternal reward, our fellowship continues to grow. We now have over four thousand churches around the world.
Discipleship is spending time with Jesus, in prayer, in reading His word, and in how we interact with those around us. If you want to truly impact the world, join us at Victory Chapel of Greater New Hampshire and answer the call.

Prayer
- There is prayer one hour before every service.
Daily prayer is a normal and absolutely necessary part of all of our churches. This is the way of the battle for the Christian. Robbed of prayer, the church is robbed of power, direction, and divine presence. We know that the kingdom is built on God’s power, not man’s.
That is why we place emphasis on touching and releasing God. That’s why at Victory Chapel Of Greater New Hampshire you’ll find us in our building praying for God to release His favor on our ministry, as well as one hour before every service.
