Steps to Growing in Your Faith

1. Establish a Prayer Time

Set aside time each morning to pray and read the Word of God. It’s a moment to grow spiritually and strengthen your connection with God.

2. Communicate with God Daily

Take time to have honest conversations with God. Share your joys, struggles, and everything in between. Regular communication fosters a stronger relationship with Him. (Psalms 55:16-17, NKJV)

3. Commit to Daily Bible Study

4. Join a Bible Study Group

5. Get Baptized

At your earliest opportunity, be baptized as a public declaration of your faith and obedience to God. While not required for salvation, it is a vital step in your spiritual walk. (Acts 2:38, NKJV) Then Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ to remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

6. Seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit

7. Share Your Faith with Others

8. Avoid Harmful Influences

Surround yourself with uplifting companions and avoid environments, materials, and influences that pull you away from God’s presence. (2 Corinthians 6:14-17)

9. Be an Active Church Member

Make it a priority to attend church regularly. Fellowship with other believers strengthens your faith and provides encouragement. (Hebrews 10:25, NKJV)

10. Support God’s Work

11. Stay Encouraged Despite Challenges

Your pastor is there to guide and support you. Trust in the leadership God has placed in your life and work together on this spiritual path.
